AEW Dynamite Draws Lowest Audience Since February, Demo Rating Ties Season Low

AEW

This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite on TBS pulled in 619,000 viewers — a 4.8% drop from the previous week and the lowest overall audience the show has drawn since February 11.

The 18-49 demo rating came in at a 0.09, sliding 25% from the week prior and tying the lowest mark recorded for the show since January 21, which predates Nielsen’s shift to the Big Data+Panel measurement system.

Stiff Sports Competition Contributed to Dynamite’s Struggles

The night presented unusually difficult competition. The World Baseball Classic on FS1 topped the cable ratings with a 0.48 demo rating and over 1.674 million viewers, while Dynamite also ran head-to-head against an NBA game on ESPN and an NCAA contest on ESPN2. The show ultimately tied for 15th overall on the primetime cable charts — well below its typical placement.

Year-over-year comparisons paint a starker picture. Compared to the same week in 2025, overall viewership fell 1.4% while the 18-49 rating dropped 43.8%. Against recent averages over the last ten weeks, this week’s episode was up 6.3% in total viewers but down 10% in the demo.
