Jack Perry is a singles champion in AEW once again. Perry captured the AEW National Championship by winning the 21-Man Blackjack Battle Royal at Revolution, eliminating inaugural champion Ricochet in the process with a spikerana to end his reign.
The match began on the Zero Hour pre-show but carried over onto the main card. Among the notable moments was the return of Scorpio Sky, who entered alongside manager Christopher Daniels to their classic S.C.U. theme music. Lio Rush also turned heads with a new look, debuting a shaved head for his appearance in the bout.
Final Eliminations Set the Stage for Perry’s Title Win
The closing stretch of the Battle Royal saw Tommaso Ciampa eliminate Ace Austin before Juice Robinson eliminated Ciampa. Jack Perry then eliminated El Clon before delivering the decisive spikerana to Ricochet to win the championship. Perry celebrated the moment with his mother and sister at ringside.
The win marks Perry’s return to championship gold in AEW. He is a former FTW Champion and former TNT Champion, and the National title now adds another singles reign to his resume. Ricochet had been the first-ever AEW National Champion heading into tonight’s match.
