The Babes of Wrath’s inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship reign is over. Lena Kross and Megan Bayne — competing as The Divine Dominion — defeated Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale to become the new champions at Revolution, ending a reign that stood at 96 days.
The match was the second of the night for both Nightingale and Kross, who each pulled double duty at Revolution. Earlier in the Zero Hour pre-show, Nightingale successfully defended the AEW TBS Championship against Kross in a singles match. Just hours later, the two were on opposite sides of the Women’s Tag Team title picture on the main card.
Kross Picks Up the Pinfall Over Nightingale to Claim the Gold
The finishing sequence saw Kross and Bayne combine for a chokeslam on Nightingale, with Kross landing the pinfall to secure the victory. The result marks the first Women’s Tag Team Championship reign for both Kross and Bayne, capping a significant night for Kross who had come up short in her earlier TBS title challenge before bouncing back in impressive fashion.
