Mercedes Mone has officially put the All Elite Wrestling locker room on notice regarding her highly anticipated return to television. “The CEO” has been absent from AEW programming since losing the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at the New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite, but her hiatus is rapidly coming to an end.
Winnipeg Marks the Final Stop Before AEW Homecoming
During a recent appearance on IL61, Mone provided an update on her current “Mone Madness Tour,” which has seen her competing across the globe. After stints in Mexico and Italy, she confirmed her upcoming stops include Paris, London, Poland, and finally Winnipeg. “After that, Mama is gonna return home,” Mone declared during the interview.
The timing of her announcement aligns perfectly with AEW’s upcoming schedule. Mone is slated to defend her WPW Women’s Championship at the Fight at the Museum event in Winnipeg on March 31. AEW is scheduled to broadcast Dynamite from the same city the following night, April 1, sparking intense speculation that she will make her televised return on that broadcast.
Mone currently holds six active championships from various international and independent promotions, including titles from Scotland, Poland, Denmark, Canada, and Malaysia, alongside her 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Championship. When she finally resurfaces on AEW Dynamite, she has promised to take “more than just titles,” signaling a ruthless new chapter in her AEW career.
