Jeff Jarrett said WWE’s most loyal customers need a date for WrestleMania 2027 and have not been given one.
WrestleMania is set to run outside the United States for the first time. Speaking on My World with Jeff Jarrett, Jarrett said the people who build a trip around the show every year are the ones left waiting.
“Why are they not giving their most loyal, high paying customers a date to land on? That to me is those on location folks, those travel package folks, all the people that have built a pilgrimage based off every year,” Jarrett said. “Every year in the month of April, a pretty big contingent of their really loyal customers come to see the biggest event of the year. Why have they not messaged them?”
He said the audience is global, which makes the silence harder to explain.
“People come from Australia. They literally come from all over the world. So if you’re coming from Australia, it’s probably cheaper to get to the Middle East than it is to the U.S. Same with Japan,” Jarrett said.
Jarrett said he would rather see the company commit publicly.
“What would Nick Saban say? Do you play to win or not to lose? You play to win. So is there a strategy that, hey, we don’t want to tell anybody, we don’t want them to counter program? Isn’t that playing not to lose?” he said.
