Dave Meltzer called the AEW Dynamite tribute to PAC “the best wrestling TV show ever.”
The September 30 episode from Pittsburgh honored Benjamin Satterley, who died on September 27 at 40. The show included a ten-bell salute and an empty chair in the crowd, and PAC’s family released a statement thanking AEW and the wrestling community.
Meltzer shared his reaction on X after the show went off the air.
“That was the best wrestling TV show ever. And there isn’t a close second either.”
In the main event, Will Ospreay beat Ricochet with the Black Arrow, PAC’s finisher. Jon Moxley retained the AEW Continental Championship against Orange Cassidy, and Bryan Danielson returned to the ring as part of a Death Riders win over the Don Callis Family.
