A massive four-way Ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships has been made official for the All Out pay-per-view on Saturday, September 20. The announcement was made during the September 13 episode of AEW Collision. The new champions, Brodido (Bandido & Brody King), will face an incredible lineup of challengers, as they are set to defend their championships against FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler), The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson), and the former champions, The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin). The match brings together four of the best and most decorated tag teams in the world in one of the most dangerous and unpredictable match types in wrestling.
The stage for this chaotic encounter was set at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in August. On that night, Brodido won the championships in a three-way match that also involved FTR and The Hurt Syndicate. The Hurt Syndicate lost their championships without being pinned, after they were attacked by an interfering Ricochet and The Gates of Agony. This gives them a legitimate claim for a rematch. FTR, who took the pinfall in that match, and The Young Bucks, who have a long and storied history with the tag team championships, have also staked their claim to be the top team in the division. This four-way Ladder match at All Out will be a chance for one team to definitively prove they are the best in AEW.
