Eddie Kingston Says Knee Is “Great” Following Return From Injury

Eddie Kingston is back, and while his knee is holding up, the rest of his body is reminding him of the price of his career.

The “Mad King” returned to action at AEW All Out after being sidelined for nearly 18 months with a fractured tibia, torn ACL, and torn meniscus. In a new interview with In The Weeds, Kingston provided an update on his physical condition.

“The knee feels great, knock on wood,” Kingston said. “I have no worry about it whatsoever. Once I put the brace on, I’m good to go.”

However, Kingston noted that the rest of his body is feeling the effects of getting back into the daily grind of professional wrestling.

“All the old injuries decided to say, ‘Hey, we’re still here.’ I’m getting them more time. Those were the injuries that were just bumps and bruises over 25 years,” he explained. Despite the aches, Kingston remains undeterred, relying on simple remedies to keep going. “They’ll massage it out or I’ll take a shower and put tiger balm on them and feel fine.”
