Quote: AEW Is The Place Where He Sends Wrestlers That Aren’t As Good As Me

David Finlay beat AEW’s Konosuke Takeshita in the NJPW G1 Climax 34 tournament.

After the match, Finlay said that he thinks AEW is where he sends wrestlers who aren’t on his level.

What does AEW stand for again? All Elite Wrestling? Nah. AEW is just the place that I send people that aren’t as good as me. Ospreay, Moxley, Jay White, Juice Robinson, Takeshita, hell, even Okada. Oh, but David, you didn’t even face Okada. You’re damn right, he pussed out. Let me take you back to Battle In The Valley in San Jose this year. I ruined his little see you later Ospreay party in the ring. I smoked him in the head with my shillelagh and the first thing he did when he got to Tokyo is quit because he knows what everybody knows. I am the most dangerous man in this company, I am the most dangerous man in this industry which means I am the most dangerous man in this tournament. I will stop at nothing to accomplish my mission and I mean by any means necessary. I’m going to win the G1 Climax because hate always finds a way.
