Jim Ross recently talked about a wide range of topics on his Grilling JR podcast.
During the podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer discussed the controversial chair shot Jack Perry took inside Blood & Guts a few weeks ago on AEW Dynamite.
“That shot could have been to the back of the head, upper back, or shoulder blade area, but it resonated right off the man’s head. I was uncomfortable with it, to be honest, but I understand why it was done and the environment of that show.
Watching it at home, I was mildly shocked by the velocity and harmful intent. Thank God they only used it once, if I remember correctly. It’s tough; it’s about how far you go, what’s too much, and what’s not enough. I suggest there are ways to achieve the same level of violence without scrambling a guy’s brains.”
