Injured AEW Star Is Returning To The Ring

Kota Ibushi has been missing from wrestling since the ‘New Year 2024’ event hosted by Pro Wrestling NOAH. He participated in a singles match against Naomichi Marufuji during the main event, which lasted for more than 30 minutes.

Despite injuring his ankle while executing a moonsault, Ibushi completed the match. It was later disclosed that he had actually injured both of his ankles early in the bout. Ibushi underwent surgery for a fractured ankle and is anticipated to be sidelined for a period of six to twelve months.

Ibushi will compete in a five-minute exhibition bout to celebrate his 20th anniversary in wrestling.
