AEW Revolution Was A Major Success On PPV

AEW Revolution delivered a night of intense matches and standout performances, including a particularly violent card. In the AEW World Title Number One Contender’s Match, Swerve Strickland defeated Ricochet, earning the right to challenge Jon Moxley.

After the match, Strickland asserted his dominance by attacking AEW World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley.

Dave Meltzer reported the PPV buys in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He wrote, “This show did the biggest numbers since All In, with a first week estimate in the range of 135,000 to 140,000 buys. Many will attribute that to the depth of the card and not the main event.”
