AEW star “Hangman” Adam Page has candidly addressed the recent behavior of The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) and his own relationship with former Elite stablemate Kenny Omega. With The Bucks set to face Omega in the Anarchy in the Arena match at tonight’s Double or Nothing, Page didn’t mince words about their actions.
During an interview with Variety, Page commented, “Yeah, the Bucks have been assholes lately, huh?” He acknowledged his debt to them career-wise but expressed confusion over their current attitude: “I do owe so much of my career to them… But I do think they may have misunderstood where my mind is currently at. I don’t know whether to take that as a slight and intentional, or as an honest mistake.”
Regarding Omega, who is on the opposing Anarchy in the Arena team from The Bucks, Page admitted a lapse in communication since Omega’s return. “They have absolutely been assholes to Kenny, I will say that,” Page stated. “I haven’t followed up with Kenny since he’s been back, maybe in the way that I should. Maybe that’s something I can do, and I know that I should do it sooner rather than later. I don’t know why I haven’t.” This signals potential for a future reconciliation or storyline development between the former AEW World Champions.
