Asuka Details Challenging Return From Injury

After advancing in the 2025 WWE Queen of the Ring tournament, Asuka shared a message with her fans about her return from a nearly year-long absence.

“Hey, welcome to KanaChanTV! I’m back! I finally made my return to the ring. Thank you so much for all your support, kind messages, and love—it meant everything to me,” she said on her YouTube channel. “It wasn’t easy being gone for so long. There were some really tough days, physically and mentally. But I got through it… because of all of you. Your voices kept me going. I never gave up. And now—I’m here again! The match was intense. I truly pushed myself to the limit, but I made it through. I won. And this… this is just the beginning” (per Fightful).

Asuka will now face the winner of the semifinal match between Jade Cargill and Roxanne Perez in the tournament finals at WWE Night of Champions. The winner receives a women’s championship match at SummerSlam.
