Injury Updates On Will Ospreay And Mina Shirakawa

AEW

The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided updates on the injuries to AEW stars Will Ospreay and Mina Shirakawa.

Ospreay, who was written off television with a stretcher angle at All In: Texas, has reportedly been hurt for a while. The report states that his injuries are now believed to be “worse than originally thought,” and he will be seeing a doctor in the United States next week for a full evaluation.

The report also clarified the nature of Mina Shirakawa’s broken hand, which was suffered during the Women’s Casino Gauntlet match at All In. While it was mentioned on television that the injury occurred during the finish of the match, the Observer reports that it actually happened earlier when she “connected way too hard” with a spinning backfist to Thunder Rosa.
