Report: Andrade El Idolo Has Signed A Full-Time Contract With AEW

Following his shocking return on the sixth anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite, a new report from Fightful Select has confirmed that Andrade El Idolo has officially signed a full-time contract with All Elite Wrestling. “El Idolo” made a massive impact on his return, attacking Kenny Omega after the main event and aligning himself with the Don Callis Family. The move brings one of the industry’s top free agents back to the company where he had a memorable run from 2021 to 2023. His return adds another major star to the AEW roster and immediately places him in a top-tier storyline with one of the most powerful factions in the promotion.

Andrade’s career has been a whirlwind over the past couple of years. His previous AEW contract expired in December 2023, and at the time, Tony Khan spoke highly of him despite the departure. He made a surprise return to WWE just a month later in the 2024 Royal Rumble. However, his second run with that company was short-lived, as he was released in mid-September of this year for what was reported to be a disciplinary issue. Now, just weeks after becoming a free agent, he is once again a full-time member of the All Elite Wrestling roster, creating a host of new and exciting potential matchups for the fans.
