The WWE women’s division has received a significant injection of star power with the return of Brie Bella. Dave Meltzer reported in Sunday’s Daily Update that, at least for the moment, Bella is back in the WWE alongside her twin sister Nikki.
“Brie Bella’s return last night was not a one-night thing,” Meltzer wrote. “She’s going to be back for at least the time being.” Bella seemingly confirmed this new chapter on social media, writing, “The Bella Twins are back!!!! YES! YES! YES!”
She added, “I can’t even express the gratitude I’m feeling right now. It’s been a journey to get here but I’m back and it feels good!!! Love you Bella Army for always standing with your girl and thank you Riyadh for the very warm welcome… BRIEMODE IS ACTIVATED.” Bella entered the Royal Rumble at number 29, lasting around seven minutes before being eliminated by Lash Legend.
