FTR opened the pay-per-view by successfully defending the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks in a hard-fought match that ended with an Avalanche Shatter Machine on Matt Jackson. The bout featured multiple near-falls from both sides before FTR emerged victorious.
