Hangman Adam Page is stepping away from AEW. According to Fightful Select, sources within the company indicate that Page will be taking time off in the wake of his Texas Deathmatch loss to MJF at Revolution — a defeat that also permanently stripped him of any future AEW World Championship opportunities.
The timeline of the break is not fully clear. One source described the upcoming absence as “indeterminate,” noting it could end up being weeks or months. It is also not yet known whether Page will appear on Dynamite in the coming weeks before stepping away or if the time off begins immediately. Page is not currently advertised for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Page’s Revolution Loss Follows a Run of Major Setbacks in AEW
The break comes after a difficult stretch for Page. Beyond the title loss, he and JetSpeed also dropped the AEW World Trios Championships to The Don Callis Family — Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis — on the March 4 episode of Dynamite. JetSpeed subsequently teamed with Mistico to recapture those titles at Revolution without Page involved. This is not Page’s first extended absence from AEW. He took four months off following Revolution 2024, his last time stepping away from the company. With the world title stipulation now permanently closing that door, his return and what comes next for him in AEW will be one of the more closely watched storylines in the months ahead.
