In a video released after Monday’s Raw, where IYO had a backstage interaction with both Kairi and Rodriguez, she expressed her thoughts on both matters.
“Rhea moved to SmackDown, and now I’m no longer the Tag Team Champion. I’m beginning to see things more clearly,” IYO stated. “Kairi may have chosen to follow Asuka on her own, but Asuka’s treatment of her isn’t right. Kairi needs to recognize that and find a way out. I need her to see this.”
With Rodriguez increasingly getting involved in her affairs, IYO made it clear that the upcoming MSG match is her top priority. “Raquel — I’m not sure what your issue is, but you’ve been all over me lately. Next week at Madison Square Garden, IYO SKY is going to take you down and send you packing. I’ll handle the Kairi and Asuka situation afterward. No worries — I can manage that.” These remarks indicate that IYO is strategizing to potentially free Kairi from Asuka’s grasp, with next week’s Raw at MSG marking the first step in settling her own scores before shifting focus back to the Kabuki Warriors.
