Brock Lesnar and Sable spent part of WrestleMania 42 weekend crossing paths with rapper Tom MacDonald at their Las Vegas hotel, with MacDonald sharing the encounter on social media along with a photo of the three together. The rapper — known for promoting himself as a “MAGA rapper” and described as a controversial figure in music — described a warm and extended interaction with Lesnar following his apparent retirement from professional wrestling.
“I bumped into Brock Lesnar in my hotel and when I extended my hand to thank him for his contributions to pro wrestling he said, ‘Tom MacDonald! No, thank you for what you do. We listen to you all the time.’ For 20 minutes we chatted and I got to know what a genuinely cool and real dude he is. It blows my mind that my music has managed to find the folks who have fallen through the cracks as well as reached the folks at the tops of the mountains. Not a day goes by that I’m not incredibly grateful for this wild ride, and moments like this remind me how truly wild it is,” MacDonald wrote. MacDonald is himself a former professional wrestler, having competed for six years in Canada during the late 2000s with his final match taking place at an ECCW event in Vancouver in November 2009. Lesnar seemingly retired from wrestling following his loss to Oba Femi in the opening match of WrestleMania 42 Night Two. Sable’s last WWE run ended in 2004 — she and Lesnar have been married since 2006.
