Persephone has been ruled out indefinitely due to an injury, AEW has confirmed. Tony Khan announced ahead of this week’s Collision that Persephone was hurt by Julia Hart’s mist during Collision Playoff Palooza, where she and Alex Windsor lost to Hart and AEW Women’s Champion Thekla.
Persephone had been scheduled to compete in the Survival of the Fittest match for the ROH Women’s Championship at ROH Supercard of Honor on May 15. Khan announced that Zayda Steel will face Hyan to determine her replacement in the match.
The CMLL World Women’s Champion is on a dual deal with both AEW and CMLL, signed in January 2026. Recent reporting from Dave Meltzer indicated WWE has internal interest in signing her once that contract expires later this year. Further details on the nature of her injury have yet to be released.
