WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has confirmed he is leaving KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy, the training school and promotion run by his cousin Reno Anoa’i. The former Intercontinental Champion announced the news on social media.

KnokX Pro drew widespread condemnation in 2025 after Raja Jackson assaulted Syko Stu at one of the school’s shows, knocking him unconscious and landing more than 20 blows to his head. The Los Angeles Police Department investigated the assault. KnokX Pro had previously been part of WWE’s ID affiliate program, but WWE cut ties following the incident.
In the aftermath, Rikishi was reported to have implemented sweeping changes at the academy. It is unclear whether his 2026 departure is connected to the continued fallout from the attack.
