Roman Reigns has been pulled from all four previously advertised June episodes of WWE Raw, with Dave Meltzer reporting the reason is tied to WWE’s Saudi Arabia premium live event on June 27. Reigns is no longer scheduled for the June 1 show in Turin, June 8 in Paris, June 15 in Baltimore, or June 22 in London. He remains booked for the May 11 episode in Knoxville, the night after Backlash.
“Regarding Roman Reigns being pulled from June TV dates that were announced, the reason we were told is that he’s not going to be on the Saudi Arabia PPV and thus there was no reason to do the TVs building that show. If he loses the title next week, of course that would be a change and there will be more to the story. If he retains, that’s probably all it is. But Reigns is no longer scheduled for any television in June.”
The Saudi event in question is Night of Champions, which WWE confirmed on April 23 will take place at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on June 27. It is WWE’s second Saudi Arabia event of 2026, following Royal Rumble in late January.
After defeating CM Punk on Night Two of WrestleMania 42, Reigns said in his post-show comments that he would not be a part-timer as World Heavyweight Champion and planned to be present throughout the summer. He defends the title against Jacob Fatu at Backlash on Saturday, May 9, from Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida.
