Paul Wight has heaped praise on AEW star Will Ospreay, comparing his attitude and approach to several names he has come to view as family. Speaking on Under The Mat with Simon Miller, Wight offered a glowing assessment of the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, who recently returned from a neck injury sustained at Forbidden Door last year.
“I love him. Well, we haven’t got a chance to work together, so that would bring him in the son category. I have Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Big E, Kevin Owens. Miro. There’s a lot of those guys that I think of as my kids. Ospreay’s not… there yet, but he could be because of his energy, and I’ll tell you why. Super positive. Super hard work ethic. Gets the business, the industry, incredible love for wrestling and for going out there and giving everything for the fans.”
