Cody Rhodes said he would not rule out his daughters becoming wrestlers, and would hold them to the same standard his father set for him. Rhodes made the comments at the Disney Upfronts, speaking with US Weekly.
“I would say the same thing my dad said, which was, ‘Cool, you can go into it, but you have to be the best,'” Rhodes said. “That’s easier said than done, but I think they could certainly do it, those two.”
Rhodes and his wife Brandi have two daughters, Liberty, born in June 2021, and Leilani, born in August 2025. Rhodes is a second-generation wrestler, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes and younger brother of AEW’s Dustin Rhodes. He has been wrestling since 2006 and is a three-time WWE Champion.
