Shinsuke Nakamura and Talla Tonga are set to meet on next Friday’s WWE SmackDown in Lexington, Kentucky.
The match was set up on this week’s show when Solo Sikoa told Tonga to handle Damian Priest. As Talla and Tama walked away, Nakamura approached to speak with Tama and was immediately jumped by Talla, who chokeslammed Nakamura onto a cargo crate. Tama Tonga has grown increasingly uneasy with Sikoa’s focus on the Bray Wyatt lantern, and Nakamura has been making recurring backstage appearances to urge Tama away from the group. Talla has had enough of the interference.
Tama went on to lose his match to Priest. Sikoa and Talla got the last word afterward, jumping Priest and hitting him with the Samoan spike. Sikoa wasn’t so fortunate in the main event, taking a chair to the face from Royce Keys.
