Two members of The Conglomeration have earned a future shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles thanks to Wednesday’s Dynamite. In a Double Jeopardy bout, AEW Trios Champion Orange Cassidy defeated AEW World Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood to lock in the opportunity. Had Harwood won, FTR and Tommaso Ciampa would have earned an AEW World Trios title shot instead.
The date and the specific Conglomeration members involved have yet to be announced. FTR remain the reigning champions and are next set to defend against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in an I Quit street fight at Double or Nothing, with a stipulation that Copeland and Cage must retire as a tag team if they lose.
AEW has also booked a 10-man tag for next Wednesday’s Dynamite from Asheville, North Carolina. FTR will team with Ciampa, David Finlay, and Clark Connors of The Dogs to face The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), Christian Cage, Adam Copeland, and Orange Cassidy. The match joins the previously announced AEW World title bout, with Kazuchika Okada set to challenge whoever leaves Fairway to Hell as champion between Darby Allin and PAC.
