Brock Lesnar has officially been moved to the alumni section of WWE’s website. The move comes weeks after Lesnar’s apparent retirement following his loss to rising star Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
After the WrestleMania defeat, Lesnar left his gloves and boots in the ring and shared an embrace with Paul Heyman before walking away. WWE soon began airing video packages on Raw and SmackDown saluting his career and even rolled out merchandise tied to a possible retirement. With Lesnar now officially out of the active roster, earlier rumors that he might wrestle again at SummerSlam appear to be off the table.
Lesnar debuted in the early 2000s and quickly became the youngest WWE Champion in history. After leaving for stints in Japanese pro-wrestling, the NFL, and MMA, he returned to WWE in 2012 and remained with the company for the rest of his career, aside from a few brief UFC runs. He retires as a seven-time WWE Champion, three-time WWE Universal Champion, former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, and former UFC Heavyweight Champion. He also won the Royal Rumble in 2003 and 2022 and famously ended The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak at WrestleMania 30.
