Ring of Honor taped matches for upcoming episodes of ROH TV on Saturday, May 9 at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with a title change among the highlights. The tapings, courtesy of JJ Williams, took place before and after AEW Fairway to Hell.
Pre-Collision results: Satnam Singh defeated James Tapia and CD Bennett. Josh Woods beat Angelico with Serpentico in a Pure rules match, with Woods continuing to attack Angelico afterwards until Serpentico tried to make the save and was also handled by Woods, before Nigel McGuinness made his way to the ring — the two will meet at Supercard of Honor. Zayda Steel, accompanied by Christopher Daniels, defeated Hyan to advance to the Survival of the Fittest match at Supercard of Honor.
Post-Collision results: Blake Christian, with Lee Johnson, defeated Evil Uno and Alex Reynolds, with Christian declaring afterward he will become the new ROH World Champion when he faces Bandido at Supercard of Honor. Deonna Purrazzo defeated Kaci Lennox before being attacked post-match by Diamante, who used the Fujiwara armbar and held the Pure Championship ahead of their Supercard of Honor match. STP (Shane Taylor, Carlie Bravo, and Shawn Dean) with Anthony Ogogo and Christyan XO beat Mance Warner, Ortiz, and Eddie Kingston.
AR Fox defeated Nick Wayne, with Mother and Kip Sabian, to win the ROH Television Championship. Lio Rush appeared post-match, and Tony Khan announced off-air that Fox would defend against Lio at Supercard of Honor. Darlon Castle and The Outrunners defeated Baby Keef, Xander Maddox, and Puma Johnson. Bandido beat Action Andretti, with Blake Christian confronting him afterward.
The Premier Athletes (Ari Daivari, Tony Nese, and Stori Denali) with Mark Sterling beat Ricky Martinez, Maxx Stardom, and Jacey Love. Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta, with PAC and Jon Moxley, defeated Tommy Billington and Adam Priest. Athena, Billie Starkz, and Marina Shafir beat Lacey Lane, Yuka Sakazaki, and Maya World, with Athena taking the pin off Billie’s setup on Lane.
