The former New Day duo of Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston are headed for their first post-WWE convention appearance, with GalaxyCon announcing the two will be available for photos and autographs at the company’s Oklahoma City event later this month. The pair will appear under their out-of-character names — Austin Creed and Kofi.
The duo were among the talent let go in WWE’s post-WrestleMania purge. Kofi appeared to confirm reports that he and Woods had been asked to take pay cuts and opted to leave instead.

The former Kofi Kingston’s full given name is Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah, which is why he is able to use the single name as a moniker going forward. Austin Watson wrestled as Austin Creed and Consequences Creed before WWE renamed him Xavier Woods — not to be confused with the American football player of the same name, who is also currently unsigned. Watson also used the Austin Creed name on UpUpDownDown, the YouTube channel he founded and reportedly sold to WWE in 2021. The channel’s future remains unclear.
GalaxyCon takes place May 22 through May 24 at the Oklahoma City Convention Center in Oklahoma City. Creed and Kofi are only currently announced for Saturday and Sunday. Gangrel is the other notable wrestling figure booked for the event and will appear all three days.
