Darby Allin will defend the AEW World Championship against MJF at AEW Double or Nothing in a title vs. hair match. The match was made official on Dynamite after Allin retained against Konosuke Takeshita, when MJF came out and signed the contract.
After signing, MJF ran down Allin’s accomplishments. Allin responded. MJF then knocked Allin out with his Dynamite diamond ring, got back in the ring, and nearly hit a second-rope tombstone before Kevin Knight ran in for the save.
The stipulation came from Allin, who said last week the only way he would give MJF another shot was if MJF put up what meant the most to him. MJF will be looking for his third title reign. It is a rematch from last month, when Allin won the title in his hometown of Everett, Washington. Allin has made five defenses since.
AEW Double or Nothing takes place next Sunday in Queens, New York.
