Axiom and The Miz are set to meet next Friday on WWE SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain — Axiom’s hometown.
The match was set up in a backstage segment on Friday’s show. The Miz and Kit Wilson were discussing their string of recent losses when Fraxiom walked in. Axiom suggested the losing streak might be tied to Danhausen’s curse. Miz denied it, got flustered when reminded his Cleveland Cavaliers were also struggling, and challenged Axiom to a match in Barcelona to prove a point.
Miz and Wilson have been on the losing end of the Danhausen curse storyline since Backlash, where they lost to Danhausen and Minihausen in a tag match.
