Rhea Ripley officially accepted Jade Cargill’s challenge for a WWE Women’s Championship rematch at Clash in Italy on Friday’s SmackDown from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.
Ripley opened the show and addressed Cargill’s recent return, saying the attack only made her want the fight more. The match at Clash in Italy on May 31 in Turin will be Ripley’s first title defense since winning the belt from Cargill at WrestleMania 42. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss joined Ripley on stage, with some tension between the three ahead of their six-woman tag at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
