WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIV took place Saturday from the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Jade Cargill, Michin & B-Fab def. Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss — Six-Woman Tag
Cargill pinned Ripley to give her team the win heading into their WWE Women’s Championship rematch at Clash in Italy.
Sol Ruca def. Becky Lynch via Disqualification — Non-Title
As Ruca went for the Sol Snatcher, Lynch pulled referee Jessika Carr into her path, causing the DQ. Lynch’s title didn’t change hands, but she didn’t get away clean — backstage, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis informed her that Adam Pearce had ruled she would now have to defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Ruca at Clash in Italy. Lynch hit Ruca with multiple Manhandle Slams after the match.
Penta def. Ethan Page — WWE Intercontinental Championship
Penta retained. Page removed the turnbuckle padding and drove Penta into it, but Penta kicked out and used the same exposed corner to his advantage on the way to the finish.
Paige & Brie Bella def. Lash Legend & Nia Jax — WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Scream Mode retained. The Irresistible Forces dominated much of the match, with Jax nearly putting Paige away, but a combination of a kick and leverage from Bella off the ropes got the pin on Jax.
The Vision def. The Street Profits — WWE World Tag Team Championship
Logan Paul and Austin Theory retained. The finish came with Theory getting the pinfall. After the match, Bron Breakker ran in and speared both Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, leaving The Vision standing tall.
