Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will perform their Five-Second Pose on tonight’s AEW Dynamite and Collision on TBS and HBO Max, celebrating their AEW World Tag Team Championship win at Double or Nothing on Sunday.
Tony Khan announced the segment on X: “For the benefit of those with flash photography, Rated-R Cope and Christian will celebrate their unforgettable AEW Double or Nothing AEW World Tag Team Championship win with a Wednesday Night 5 Second Pose, TOMORROW!”
The Five-Second Pose originated in 2000 after the duo won the WWF World Tag Team Championships and turned heel, explaining they had become too good to stand among the fans. They would pose with their titles for five seconds and the bit evolved into city-specific mockery that became one of their signature comedic elements.
The Double or Nothing win was their first tag championship together in more than 25 years. They defeated FTR in an I Quit match after Beth Phoenix helped even the odds on Stokely Hathaway.
