WWE is planning to celebrate The Rock’s 30 years with the company, according to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select.
“Plans include a commemorative championship belt, special merchandise releases, and social media campaigns honoring the anniversary of his 1996 Survivor Series debut,” Fightful reported.
The Rock debuted as Rocky Maivia at Survivor Series on November 17, 1996, at Madison Square Garden. He was introduced as a third-generation star, following his father, Rocky Johnson, and grandfather, Peter Maivia.
The Rock sits on the TKO board. His praise of Tony Khan in his tribute to PAC has been discussed inside WWE, according to Dave Meltzer.
