Finn Balor said he has no interest in crossing over into boxing or MMA, addressing the question at a Zuffa Boxing press conference in Dublin promoting their August event in Ireland.
“Well, obviously I have the utmost respect for the gentlemen that are up here beside me. I wouldn’t take it lightly stepping in the ring with some of the boxers, or the cage with the fighters. They’re very disciplined guys, they know exactly what they’re doing. I’d rather stay exactly in my lane in WWE, thank you very much,” Balor said.
Balor was at the press conference on behalf of WWE, which like Zuffa Boxing is a TKO subsidiary. He holds a first-degree black belt in IBF submission wrestling. He was recently traded to SmackDown and is entered in the King of the Ring tournament.
