MJF posted a recovery video on Instagram showing himself taking a cold plunge and providing an update on the hyperextended knee he suffered on the June 3 Dynamite.
“Very recently, I have hurt my left knee. I hyperextended it in a match against RUSH, who is a bad person,” MJF said. “This match happened on Wednesday. It is now, I believe, Tuesday? And my inflammation in my knee has drastically gone down. Obviously, there’s still a —- ton of inflammation and pain, but being honest with myself, without this cold plunge, I do believe it would have took me a lot longer to start feeling like myself.”
He also credited his cold plunge sponsor Nordic Wave. MJF is expected to continue appearing on AEW programming. He was pulled from a Beyond Wrestling booking as a result of the injury and was replaced by Andrade El Idolo.
