Zilla Fatu, the 26-year-old son of the late Umaga, was recently seen at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando and is expected to sign with the company if he hasn’t already, per Fightful Select. Fightful reported Fatu was “going through some processes to prepare for the signing.” The report noted that while there has been long-term speculation about WWE interest, the serious pursuit “came about fairly recently.”
Fatu is a member of the Anoa’i wrestling family. He is first cousins with Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Jacob Fatu. He was trained by Booker T through Reality of Wrestling and has competed primarily for House of Glory and GCW on the independent circuit, winning championships in both. In February 2026, he challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship at an HOG show. He has previously said his heart is set on WWE due to family ties.
Paul Heyman has publicly advocated for WWE to sign Fatu at “the very first opportunity.”
