Big Bill has given notice to AEW and is expected to sign with WWE, with plans also in place to bring in Enzo Amore and reunite them as a tag team, per Fightful Select.
Bill’s AEW contract expires within the next week. As of mid-June, Amore had not yet formally signed with WWE because the company was waiting to ensure Bill would be free and clear of his AEW deal first. It is not yet known which brand the team will be featured on.
Bill had a four-year run with AEW starting in August 2022, winning the AEW World Tag Team Championships alongside Ricky Starks (now Ricky Saints on SmackDown) and later working under Chris Jericho’s Learning Tree banner with Bryan Keith. His last match in AEW/ROH was on the April 6 episode of ROH. He was previously known in WWE as Big Cass.
Enzo and Cass were one of the most popular tag teams during the mid-2010s NXT era and on the Raw main roster, though they never won tag team championships during their original run together.
