Mike Santana has finished his run with TNA Wrestling, with his contract set to expire within the coming days and TNA sources confirming he is done with the company, per PWInsider. He will not be part of the upcoming Albany TV tapings.
Santana dropped the TNA World Championship to Nic Nemeth in the Slammiversary main event on June 28. In pre-Slammiversary interviews, he deflected questions about his future while acknowledging he would pursue growth opportunities wherever they present themselves.
WWE interest in Santana remains strong, per multiple reports. WrestleVotes previously reported that WWE hopes to have Santana on the main roster before the end of 2026. He has made multiple NXT appearances through the TNA-WWE working relationship over the past year.
Santana won the TNA World Championship twice during his run, reinventing himself as a singles star after years as a tag team specialist. He joined TNA in April 2024 after departing AEW.
