Trey Miguel has been cleared to return to TNA Wrestling, four months after breaking his patella at TNA Rebellion in April, per F4WOnline.
Miguel told Local 4 News in Detroit that he received medical clearance just days after Slammiversary.
“I’ve been out for four months because of it. I was cleared yesterday.”
Miguel had posted on Sunday that he tried to push hard enough to be cleared in time for Slammiversary but fell short.
“Second Slammiversary in a row I missed. Missing today hurt a little different. Congrats to everyone who worked their ass off today to put on another great PPV. I really tried to push hard enough to be cleared by today.”
Despite the injury, Miguel had been able to finish his Rebellion match against Mustafa Ali, who defeated him for the TNA International Championship that night. Miguel recently signed a new TNA contract and has also opened Grind Time Wrestling Academy in Michigan, where he will coach beginner-level classes.
