Hijo del Fantasma, who wrestled in WWE as Santos Escobar, posted a parting message aimed at Paul Levesque and Nick Khan. Fantasma shared the note on social media, with roughly two days left on his 90-day no-compete clause.
“2 days: WWE. I gave everything and that’s what was taken, no regrets. Grateful for the people, the places, and the circumstances I was placed in. I will continue to grow my legend and my mark on the industry. Watch me, Paul and Nick,” Fantasma wrote, in a quote translated from Spanish.
Fantasma was with WWE from 2019 and was released on April 24 of this year, following an injury suffered while working for AAA. His last WWE match came at the AAA event Rey de Reyes 2026.
The 42-year-old will be free to wrestle once the no-compete expires. He is scheduled to appear at San Diego Comic-Con, which runs July 23 to 26.
