TNA has announced the first three matches for Lockdown, its all-cage pay-per-view. The matches were revealed on Thursday’s Impact by Santino Marella and include two title defenses and a grudge match.
TNA Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy will defend against former champions Nic and Ryan Nemeth. The teams feuded over the titles in 2025, with the Nemeths ending the Hardys’ 183-day run before losing the belts back to them 84 days later.
Cedric Alexander will defend the X-Division Title against Leon Slater in a rematch. Slater and Ricky Sosa beat Alexander and Eddie Edwards to open Thursday’s show, with Slater pinning Alexander and issuing the challenge afterward. Slater lost the title to Alexander in May.
A.J. Francis vs. Elijah was also added following a backstage confrontation.
Lockdown takes place Sunday, August 23 in Chicago. The event first ran from 2005 to 2016. The current card:
