WWE SummerSlam begins tonight with night one from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, headlined by CM Punk defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes. Six matches are set for the show.
Punk and Rhodes have not wrestled one-on-one since 2008, and Punk is holding the title for the first time in more than 13 years. The Women’s World Championship is also on the line, with Liv Morgan defending against IYO SKY, who earned the shot by winning the 2026 Queen of the Ring and beating Morgan in the final at Night of Champions.
Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar meet inside Hell in a Cell in their third singles match, after Femi gave up his guaranteed World Title shot to get the rematch. Gunther faces SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis in Aldis’ first match in three years, following weeks of physical altercations. In tag action, LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys face Jacob Fatu and The Usos, and Fatal Influence defend the Women’s Tag Team Titles against the Bella Twins and Paige, with Nikki Bella cleared to return after an ankle injury.
Night one starts at 6 p.m. ET and streams on ESPN in the United States, with international streaming on Netflix. The announced card:
