Andrade El Idolo won a three-way over Tommaso Ciampa and Komander at Grand Slam Mexico on Wednesday to take the number one spot in the men’s Casino Gauntlet match at All In: London.
It was the reigning AEW National Champion’s first match in Arena Mexico in nearly three years. The Gauntlet win guarantees him a place in the match at Wembley Stadium and a shot at a future World Championship opportunity.
MJF returned after the match, attacked Andrade, and said he would wrestle in a qualifier on next week’s Dynamite from Las Vegas for the second Gauntlet spot.
