Dominik Mysterio is unhappy with how differently he is presented in WWE compared to AAA, according to two reports.
False Finish reported that sources say Mysterio believes he should be booked more seriously on WWE television given that he holds AAA’s top championship, and that he would rather run the same character in both promotions instead of appearing as two different acts.
Self Made Pro said much the same on Self Made Sessions earlier this week, reporting that Mysterio thinks his creative is poor and does not understand why the AAA version of his presentation has not carried over to the main roster.
Mysterio lost to Danhausen in a Human Monies on a Pole match on night two of SummerSlam. At six minutes and 50 seconds, it was the shortest match across either night. The finish involved the Minihausens, Joe Hendry hitting JD McDonagh with a guitar, and turnbuckle pyro knocking Mysterio off the ropes as he reached for the bag of cash. He wrestled in older gear and did not bring the AAA Mega Championship to the ring.
The Danhausen program has run about five months, starting when Danhausen cursed him at Elimination Chamber. Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Championship to Penta on the March 2 episode of Raw later that night.
Mysterio defends the AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano at TripleMania on September 11 and 13.
