AEW Dynamite airs tonight from Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, with the TBS Championship on the line and the Continental Challenge Cup entering the quarterfinals.
Maya World defends the TBS Championship against Kris Statlander, Persephone, and Hikaru Shida in a four-way. World won the title from Shida and beat Shida and Persephone in a tag match last week, while Persephone pinned Statlander at Grand Slam Mexico.
In the quarterfinals, Jay White faces reigning Continental Champion Jon Moxley, whose title reign stands at 235 days, and Nigel McGuinness meets Hechicero in a first-time match less than a week after McGuinness suffered a foot injury against Katsuyori Shibata. The semifinals take place on the Glasgow Dynamite, with the final at All In: London.
Both All In main event pairings sit down with Renee Paquette tonight: AEW World Champion Kenny Omega with Will Ospreay, and AEW Women’s World Champion Willow Nightingale with Mercedes Mone.
