AEW is bringing the Grand Slam series to France for the first time.
AEW announced that Grand Slam France takes place Tuesday, October 6 at Adidas Arena in Paris, with Dynamite and Collision both taped at the event.
“There are so many great wrestling fans in France, and a lot of fans from France have made the trek to London to see AEW, and we believe there’s a lot of excitement around All Elite Wrestling in Paris, and it just felt like this would be the perfect time to launch with a huge event,” Tony Khan told Sports Business Journal.
Khan said he hopes AEW can run more events in France and “continue to make Paris a major live event site” for the company.
It is the ninth edition of the Grand Slam series, which has previously run in New York, Brisbane, Mexico City, and Sydney. The most recent edition was Grand Slam Mexico at Arena Mexico earlier this month.
